Springtime in Colorado means some challenging times for runners. But don't let the spring storm cut into your training plan. Just take some extra precautions and you can still get your run in.  Click here to see the top ten cold weather running safety tips! http://running.about.com/od/safetyweather/tp/coldweathersafety.htm

Re: Don't let the cold and snow slow you down!

I always say I will run in the rain, sleet, hail or shine but WOW ..... I hope I don't have to come to Colorado in 3 weeks and run in snow boots - haha - I am slow enough as it is with having the snow - The 6 hr time limit has me a little scared as it is - Makes me nervous to think about running in the snow and in the altitude - So before the marathon could you all get out the snow blowers, hair dryers, heaters and whatever else is needed to melt the snow and put some humidity in the air - lol -

Any tips for the next three weeks would be greatly appreciated -

I am getting a little nervous about this trip - It will be my 6th marathon in 6 months in 6 states. Read about it on the blog - Tell us your story -
