Corporate Cup -- Presented by The Denver Athletic Club
The challenge has been issued:  Is your business faster than the Denver Athletic Club?  If you think so, put together teams of employees and associates to compete against other corporations -- and see which corporation really is the fastest!  This is a great way to promote your business, develop employee comradarie away from the office, and promote fitness and wellness in the work place.

Charity Partners
Relay teams running for official 2010 Charity Partners are invited to enter this division. Charity Partner teams help approved approved nonprofit organizations raise funds for their respective causes.  For more information about Charity Partners,

Municipal Cup -- Presented by Kaiser Permanente
Aurora Mayor Ed Tauer, Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper and Lakewood Mayor Bob Murphy invite every city and town in Colorado to see which municipality has the fastest feet in the West.

Relay teams may be comprised of city employees, elected officials and family members and consist of all men, all women, or mixed (minimum of 2 of one gender).

Special Instructions for Relay Teams

How to know what leg you're running
Relay team leg assignments are determined by individual team members.  When visiting the race packet pickup area at the Health & Fitness Expo, please let them know which leg you intend to run.

When to be at your exchange zone
Leg 1: Denver’s City Park start line – 5:30 a.m.
Leg 2: East High School – 6:00 a.m.
Leg 3: VFW Hall at Colfax & Winona – 6:15 a.m.
Leg 4: Casa Bonita at Colfax & Newland – 6:30 a.m.
Leg 5: Denver Aquarium on Water St. – 7:00 a.m.

"Handing Off" to a Relay Team Member
When finishing your leg of the race, run across the rubber timing mat and under the banner at the relay exchange zone. “Hand tag” your relay teammate on the far side of the exchange zone so he/she can begin the next leg of the race. You will remove your timing chip from your ankle AFTER you have crossed under the Relay Exchange Zone banner and pass it to the next member who will attach it to his/her ankle. If the chip is not attached to the ankle, the time will not be recorded.

DO NOT run back towards your approaching teammate or you will be disqualified.
