NEW in 2012

We like to keep the course fresh. Think it’s a boring run straight uphill on Colfax? Think again. First time ever, for any marathon: epic run through Sports Authority Field at Mile High Stadium. 7 miles of water. And a run through Denver Fire Station #1.

How does it all work?

First, pick a team captain. Yo, Captain: you can register (and pay for) the whole 5 person team, or let them register (and pay) individually, Just make sure they know your team name. (If you're registering individually, make sure to join a team or find your team name when you register.) Corporate and government employee teams, make sure you register in the Corporate Cup or Government Cup - cash prizes at stake. Second, choose the leg you want to run. You don’t need to let us know who’s running which leg. Third, plan for race day: transportation, hand offs, meeting up in City Park. Fourth, and most important - have fun!

Parking and RTD

Park at the start of your relay leg. All relay exchange zones are located near RTD stops. Relay teams receive RTD tickets to get from the end of your race leg back to your car, or to City Park, or back from City Park.

Virtual Urban Tour

Take the photo tour. You’ll learn lots of priceless trivia about the Denver’s sights you’ll be running past.

Runner’s Goodies

Great tech shirts for every member of your team. Awesome keepsake finisher medals.  And Goody Bags with great offers from sponsors, plus Colfax Goody Bags with deals on food, drink, clothing, services, classes.   Bigger and better for 2012.

Easy packet pick up at the stadium

NEW: The 2012 Sports & Fitness Expo will be at Sports Authority Field at Mile High Stadium! Free parking - and plenty of it. Enjoy the view from the Club Suites and visit all the awesome running vendors and race sponsors. Friday & Saturday, May 18-19.

Glory & Awards

Awards for top 3 finishers for open, masters and age groups - male and female. Are you running with your co-workers? Make sure you register for the Corporate Cup Challenge [link]. Kaiser Permanente has $23,000 in award money for the charity of your choice! Are you a government employee? Make sure you register for the Government Cup[link] - same award deal! Going for glory? You can say your team ran 26.2 miles. At 5,280 feet altitude. With a smile. Bucket list material.

Aid Stations Every 2 Miles

Maybe you’ve heard about hydrating. It’s important. We have awesome volunteers manning aid stations every 2 miles - with water and Gatorade. Oh yeah, lots of porta-potties, too.
