Run with a group
Training with a group is a great way to get ready for a marathon.

If you want to check out one of our official trainers, Runner's Edge, they're doing a group run this Saturday, March 15, from the Stapleton Town Center at 7:30 a.m. Contact Coach David if you want to try out a complimentary run.

Every runner dreads it. You're going along fine, when suddenly all the wind goes out of your sails. Your feet feel like they're encased in cement. It's hitting the wall.

"The bane of long-distance runners and endurance athletes, the dreaded wall can derail the best marathon plans. But it's neither inevitable nor insurmountable."

If you are a regular runner and could manage a 8 or 9 mile run, you're still in contention for the Colfax Marathon.

If you can run 4-5 miles, you're in good shape for the Half Marathon.

And even if you haven't ever run, you can still train for the 5K leg of the Relay Team!

There are two official training groups for Colfax, and we'll be bringing you information about both of them. One is Runner's Edge, and the other is Denver Galloway.

What's the difference?
