Did you catch Idol Gives Back last night?
It was star-studded. Paula, Randy, Simon and Ryan Seacrest all donated their salaries to charity. And over $22 million was raised.
Well, you can give back to Colorado, too.
We have over 40 charity partners using the Colfax Marathon to raise funds for their causes, and you can help.
Register to run the marathon, half-marathon, or get 5 friends to register as a relay team. Then, choose your cause and get creative.
Animal lover? Think about Freedom Service Dogs.
Want to help kids? Think about running for MetroCareRing. They provide food and basic necessities to 30,000 people last year, and more than half were kids. Picture the Pepsi Center full of kids and you get the idea.
Interested in educating our kids? Think about supporting Colorado Youth for a Change. They provide mentors and counseling to high-school and middle-school kids to prevent them from dropping out. They've got more than 15 runners registered already!
