The 2008 inductees into the Colorado Running Hall of Fame have been announced!
- Mark Plaatjes, 1993 world champion in the marathon.
- Steve Jones, former world record holder in the marathon.
- Arturo Barrios, former world record holder in the 10,000 meters.
- Tony Sandoval, who won the 1980 Olympic trials in the marathon and would have been a gold medal favorite if the U.S. hadn't boycotted the 1980 Moscow Games.
- Steve Bosley, founder of the Bolder Boulder.
- Ellen Hart Peña, a two-time winner of the Bolder Boulder, top runner of the early '80s and outstanding masters runner today.
- Melody Fairchild, a phenom at Boulder High School who competed at the University of Oregon.
