We've updated the parking & transportation information for relay team members.
See the Relay Team Race Day Logistics page.
Specifically, there will be a shuttle to transport runners between City Park and St. Anthony's parking lots. There will also be shuttles to transport runners between St. Anthony's and the parking lots at Teller and Garrison.

Re: Updated Relay Team Parking & Shuttle Information So far the communication has been irregular and spotty. Not all my team members have received the same information, making us very leary of any information since some is conflicting: ie: water availability only every 2 miles. The exchanges are not on the even mile!!! I spent Sat. morning trying to find someone in my neighborhood who had the DP from Fri. I received the email that Fri's sports section would contain the vital info that I needed. Finally I found a copy and there was NOTHING. I looked in Sat.'s Rocky and there was some info but not much more than I alread knew.
Also, many of us running the western most legs live in the south and there are NO identified parking places on the south side of Colfax. Walking 1 mile before the race is not acceptable to me nor is driving 30 min. longer just to get to the north side of Colfax so I can walk the extra mile. We are identifying some parking near our starting point and hopefully some kind soul will take us back to our car--one mile west. Walking 1 mile after running 6 is not appealing either. Plus, we want to get to City park to greet our finisher. By Lois Lenorovitz on 5/14/2008 1:22 PM |
Re: Updated Relay Team Parking & Shuttle Information Sorry about the Friday/ Saturday mixup. You can try the National Jewish Parking lot near 14th/Colorado too. By liz on 5/14/2008 1:42 PM |
