Hall of Famer Ellen Hart on 9News

Ellen Hart was on Susie Wargin's 6:20 sidebar on 9News this morning. She will be inducted into the Colorado Running Hall of Fame on Wednesday -- she's a truly remarkable runner.

Watch the interview here.

She has so many running accomplishments -- she's competed in Olympic trials, set a couple of American records, won the Bolder Boulder twice, ... And her athletic career is far from over. She turns 50 next week, and yesterday, out of 1,800 women, she was the overall winner of the Title 9K Mother's Day Race!

She recently started competing in triathlons, and in her first year qualified for the World Championships and will compete in them again on June 7 in Vancouver. She recently set a course record -- by 6 minutes -- in a triathlon in St. Petersburg, Florida.

She's always been active in the Colorado running community, and she'll be running the Colfax as part of the Fleet Feet women's team.
