Warren Village Helps Homeless Parents and Their Children.
Warren Village exists so that low-income single parent families achieve sustainable personal and economic self-sufficiency. Our goal is to mend and return a once homeless family to lives of independence, safety and success.
Warren Village recognizes that families are the largest segment of our nation’s homeless population. The impact of homelessness on our youngest citizens is often permanent disabilities or emotional and physical deficits that will impact a child’s future educational success and financial independence.
Founded in 1974, Warren Village offers housing for single parent, homeless families in one of our 93 rent subsidized apartments, plus extensive support and case management services and top rated child care in the Learning Center. Last year, 58 families graduated from our program, all of whom were working and/or in school at the time of graduation with increased income, enhanced social and parenting skills and working on additional goals to reach self-sufficiency.

| Charity Partner Goal |
Every dollar raised by Warren Village supporters and runners in the Colorado Colfax Marathon will be used to reduce the impact of homelessness on children in our community. We welcome all runners and walkers. Be part of our team by emailing ntaggart@warrenvillage.org. |
| How to Participate |
There are many ways to get involved with us for the race. We need both runners and volunteers. If you prefer not to race, we need volunteers the day of the race to represent Warren Village and support all the race participants. |
