What did you like least about this year’s race?
We received lots of remarks about the lack of port-a-potties, the hills, and the relay exchange zone management, and the quality of t-shirts.
Our response: Runners in 2008 will have lots and lots of port-a-potties. Although some people loved them, the tough hills at the end of the course are gone. Runners will enjoy high quality t-shirts and well-designed and managed relay exchange zones.
If you could change the course, what change or changes would you make?
The top response was to remove the hills. The second highest response was nothing. The third highest remark was to reverse the course direction.
Our response: We did it all. The hills at the end are gone. Much of the new course remains on Colfax Avenue. Half-marathoners will be running east and then west; Marathoners will be running west and then east.
Do you plan to run the Colorado Colfax Marathon in the future?
83% of our respondents will or might run our race in the future; 17% probably will not.
Our response: We welcome back the 83% and will work hard to convince the remaining 17% to return.
